Basic problem prevention techniques and management of dive emergencies. Requirements: Over 14, AOWD and valid First Aid Course (completed less than two years ago), two photographs and valid medical certificate.

Overview: Individualised study with PADI material and DVD support. The price includes all learning materials, insurance for the duration of the course, license processing and full equipment, though it´s recommended to use your own. Minimum time frame is three days.

Theory: Class review before activities. Stress, what it is and the effects it produces. How to control it. Safety rules. Emergency plans. Notions of equipment maintenance, how to minimise and avoid the risks involved. Prevention and preparation. Final written test similar to the OWD.

Practical Part: Exercises and rescue simulations in open waters under an instructor´s supervision. Making emergency plans. The course doesn´t have immersions as such, but we try to make it more pleasant by combining it with dives.

A medical questionnaire must be completed.
